# Overview

StoryKeeper acts like a personal digital journal for creating stories, capturing and embedding media, deciding where stories are published and who can view them.

The WayFinder Platform, and specifically a "canvas", is where stories are published and shared with other people. A canvas is a dynamic and collaborative interface for viewing, visualising, connecting and mapping of stories and other content.

StoryKeeper is designed for **quick** capture of stories anywhere, anytime across any device - phone, tablet, laptop - and will seamlessly sync across those devices.

The WayFinder Platform is designed for **slow** "sensemaking" of stories and other content on a canvas, and suited to larger screens like laptops and above (and quiet places!).

The short video below succinctly explains how all this fits into an "action learning loop" (we recommend you [check out our blog](https://www.wayfinders.network/tag/concepts/) for more background on this and other key concepts)
